The Devonian Fossil Gorge was uncovered during the floods of 1993 and has since become a protected area for the public to enjoy. The entry plaza was completed in 2001. There is a self-guided brochure tour with 12 stops that can be picked up at the plaza entrance, the Coralville Lake Administration building or on our website.
