Located on the 2nd floor of the Scheman Building, the Brunnier Art Museum is open daily to all types of visitors including Iowa State students, faculty, staff, community members and tourist. Named after its benefactors, Henry J. Brunnier and his wife Ann, the museum opened to the public in 1975. It is part of the University Museums organization that includes two art museums, a National Historic Landmark historic home museum, a sculpture garden, and one of the largest campus public art collections in the nation. The regularly-changing exhibitions, from the permanent collection or a visiting collection, provide educational opportunities for all ages with an emphasis on decorative arts.
