The Liberty Flames football team represents Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, competing in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) as a member of Conference USA. Established in 1973, the program has rapidly ascended in college football, achieving a Conference USA championship in 2023 and making its first major bowl appearance in the Fiesta Bowl. The Flames play their home games at Williams Stadium, known for its passionate fan base and vibrant game-day atmosphere. Under head coach Jamey Chadwell, Liberty continues to build upon its tradition of excellence, facing formidable Conference USA opponents and striving to inspire fans and alumni alike.
